As this is our first blog entry as a married couple, I thought I would give you the down low on The Hyatts. Dave and I met June 08' in the Mesa University singles ward. We started dating in August, became engaged in October, and were married on January 24th, 2009. As our "newlywed-ism" slowly comes to an end, we are left with a stronger love, many fun memories, and a lot of used furniture! Here are the highlights of our first year:
- Our honeymoon cruise to Mexico (me crying on the zipline)
- Our first Valentines Day together
- Celebrating both our birthdays together
- Disneyland trip! Going on "Screamin" a million times
- Several trips to the cabin in Pinetop
- Me attempting to cook and failing often
- Our road trip to Tuscon for our friends Wedding (me doing a crazy African dance for Dave)
- Dave's many notes on the bathroom mirror! So sweet.
- Spending time with friends and family
- Getting our first Christmas tree!
- Dave decorating our front door in Transformer wrapping paper
- Being married to the love of my life!
Well, that's pretty much our life condensed. We love everyone and wish you all a Merry Christmas!
